CHESTER — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man killed in a fatal motor vehicle accident on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Police responded to the area of Route 291 and Church Street at about 3:50 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck, according to a release from police Capt. James Chubb. The driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with the investigating detectives, but the victim has yet to be identified.
The victim is described as light skinned, possibly of Hispanic origin, and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. Fingerprints were obtained but produced no results, according to police. Officers indicated they canvassed the area several times with no luck and are now providing a sketch of the man in the hopes someone will recognize him.
Anyone who knows the individual is urged to contact Chester Detective Jamison Rogers at 610-723-7991 or email@example.com, or county Detective Timothy Deery at 610-891-8030.
