Center Sami Borcky poured in 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while forward Sam Wilson nearly matched Borcky's output, notching 13 markers and 10 boards. The Valley girls raced to a 20-13 first-quarter lead and then expanded their advantage to 15 points through three stanzas before holding off a Blue Demon rally in the fourth to preserve the victory and take the title. Point guard Anna Crowley also hit for double digits, bagging 10 points, while Kacie O'Neill popped in eight markers and Brittany McCunney added six.
Twenty-four hours earlier, the Lady Suns stormed into the championship game, blistering Phoenixville, 60-27, behind 15 points from O'Neill and 14 from McCunney. The Valley jumped all over the 'Ville, taking a 24-point lead into the locker room at halftime and then putting the uneven affair away with a 14-6 third quarter run. Borcky and Wilson, who each made the All-Tournament Team, each chipped in with 11 markers, while Ashley Montecchio dropped in five and Kelly Custer cashed in four.
