Morgan Johnson led the Panthers with 18 points and dozen rebounds. Natalie George added 14 points for Strath Haven. Johnson and teammate Sarah deBernandinis were named to the All-Tournament team last week.

Strath Haven made the finals by routing Perry Traditional, 60-38.

deBernandinis came up with a game-high 17 points, spiced by seven assists and five steals to boost the Panthers to the title round.

Marple Newtown also made it to the championship game in the Marple Tigers Tournament, but lost to Little Flower, 47-27. Rita McKeown scored nine points for Marple.

Upper Darby won the consolation game in the Interboro Holiday tournament Saturday, 65-43.

The Royals were led by Dior Brown (16 points). Amber Gullickson and Courtney Murphy added 10 points. Brown made the All-Tournament team.

Penn Wood lost in the consolation round of the Blue Star Classic Saturday to Oakland Catholic, 69-45.

Attia Jenkins led PW with 18 points and nine rebounds. Emily Thompson added 13 points and nine rebounds to the Patriot cause.

O'Hara earned fifth place in the Kroger Girls' Basketball Classic in Ohio Saturday by beating Brentwood, 55-41, behind Alysha Womack's 19 points. Stephanie Holzer was also a force for O'Hara (8-2) with 17 points, 13 rebounds and a

trio of steals along with a pair of blocked shots.

Womack also scored 18 points the night before in the Lions' 69-64 victory over Heritage (TN) in the Kroger consolation round.

Holzer came up with 16 points and nine rebounds. Teammate Danielle Callahan had nine points, five assists and three steals. Natasha McCloud matched Callahan in scoring and had three assists.

In the Cactus Jam in Phoenix, AZ, Prendergast lost to Kentwood, 49-26. Sarah O'Doherty grabbed 10 rebounds for the Pandas, whose Krista Di-Romualdo and Brittany Scanlan shared 10 points.

In the Allen Tournament in Allentown, Springfield defeated Saucon Valley, 46-17, to take third place in the consolation game.

Kristie Haines and MyNeshia McKenzie led a balanced Cougar attack with eight points apiece. Maddy McKnight and Jackie Eastman added seven each for the winners.

Penncrest took the consolation game in the West Chester East tournament by defeating Governor Mifflin, 36-30. The Lions' Erin Hardy-Merritt (14 points) made the All Tournament team.
