SPRINGFIELD >> Several people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Friday night.

Springfield Fire Co., Springfield Ambulance, Medic 106, and Springfield police responded to the crash at the intersection of North Norwinden Road and Wayne Avenue at about 11 p.m. Initial reports indicated there was entrapment. Prior to the arrival of first-responders, all occupants had exited from the vehicles.

One vehicle sustained front-end damage and the other vehicle had turned on its side as a result of the crash.

Several passengers had suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed away.
