UPPER DARBY — One person was hospitalized after she was stabbed during an argument Thursday morning, according to police.
Acting Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said that a fight in the 7100 block of Radbourne Road around 11 a.m. led to the slashing. The victim was transported to Lankenau Medical Center for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound. She was released in the afternoon. Another woman received "a superficial" cut that Bernhardt compared to a scrape.
In total, four women were involved in the scuffle, but the origins of the disagreement were not known. Bernhardt said police kept getting changing stories which included a potential road-rage incident, a dispute among neighbors, and past conflicts.
No charges are being filed.
