--Officers responded to Nick’s Roast Beef in the unit block E. Woodland Ave. on Oct. 29 at 7:40 p.m., for a report of a fight inside. Officers learned one of the patrons had become upset because the bartender took his empty glass. He struck a waitress in the face with his hand. Employees removed the patron to the outside lot and called police. The 51-year-old male resident of Springfield was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, and Public Drunkenness. He was later turned over to family.
--A resident reported Oct. 29 at 7:03 a.m., that sometime overnight someone smashed the driver side window to his Ford Focus vehicle as it was parked on the unit block of Yale Square.
--On Oct. 31 at 4:30 p.m., employees of the Reedman Toll Chrysler Dodge Dealership reported four vehicles had been damaged by keying sometime this month.
--A resident of the 600 block of Cresson Lane reported Oct. 29 at 4:17 p.m., that sometime overnight someone smashed the side window of a Lexus parked on the street.
--Target, 800 block Baltimore Pike, reported Oct. 29 at 4:12 p.m., that they had investigated one of their employees for under ringing her own purchases. The total loss to the store was over $330. The 21-year- old female from Secane will be charged with Theft.
--A person attending a function in the 400 block Collins Dr. on Nov. 3 at 5:53 p.m., observed a white SUV stopped next to his vehicle for a moment. When the person checked his vehicle, he found the driver window smashed and a pocket book taken from inside.
--Employees at the Sprint Store, 1200 block Baltimore Pike, called to report a male subject who had recently purchased two iPhones was back to purchase two more at 3:06 p.m., Oct. 30. When they began to confirm the subject’s identity and method of purchase, the male placed one of the phones in his pocket and left the store. Det. Robert Nutley is investigating.
--On Nov. 2 at 12:58 p.m., a 23-year-old Philadelphia woman was taken into custody and charged with Retail Theft after security at Target in Springfield Mall observed her take clothing from the Women’s Dept. and conceal it inside a bag that she was carrying. She attempted to leave the store failing to pay for the clothing which was valued at $175.
--Officers responded to the CVS in the 300 block of Baltimore Pike on Oct. 31 at 4:01 p.m., for a report of two unconscious subjects inside a vehicle in the lot. Officers located a male and female as reported. Both awoke and were found to be under the influence of drugs and drugs were found inside the vehicle. The 38-year-old female driver, a resident of Aston Township, was arrested for DUI and taken to the hospital for a blood test. She was also found to have an active arrest warrant from Delaware County and was later transported to Delaware County Prison. The passenger, a 49-year-old male resident of Aston, was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant from Delaware County an transported to Delaware County Prison.
--Officers responded to the Oliver Heating and Cooling on Waverly Ave. on Nov. 3 at 8:52 p.m., to investigate two subjects observed inside the secured fence of the property. Officers observed two subjects fitting the description loitering near a house on the 600 block Yale Ave. and ran upon seeing the police. One of the subjects, a 17-year-old male from the area, was stopped and admitted to being on the property. He was released to his parents and charges are pending.
