CONCORD — An early-morning fire damaged a garage and several vehicles inside, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were called to the unit block of Summit Avenue for a structure fire just after 2:20 a.m. Responding crews found flames and smoke emanating from a garage. Fire quickly spread to the adjoining house.
Concordville Fire Chief Bob Vasek said the entire house was damaged in the blazen which began in the garage are and spread to the home which he valued at $250,000. He estimated damage around $240,000 range to the ranch style home.
Vasek said a late model pick-up truck as well as low mileage antique Mustang and Firebird muscle cars were destroyed.
Firefighters from Chester Heights, Boothwyn, Media,Rocky Run, Bethel, Talleyville and Longwood assisted. Firefighters cleared the scene at 6 a.m.
State and local fire marshals are investigating the cause.
